Carianne Carleo-Evangelist has a diverse work experience in various roles. Carianne started their career as an intern at NYC & Company in 2007 while completing their Masters' in Tourism Development. Carianne then progressed through different positions in the Arts & Cultural Programs Department, including Senior Manager, Director, and Senior Director, where they focused on promoting New York City's cultural assets and facilitating collaborations between cultural organizations. In 2021, Carleo-Evangelist became the Vice President of Cultural & Community Relations at NYC & Company. Additionally, they had temporary engagements at Good Samaritan Hospital as a File Auditor and at Nova Group as an English Instructor.

Carianne Carleo-Evangelist earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Studies from Nazareth University between 1997 and 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Tourism and Travel Management at New York University from 2006 to 2008. Carianne also holds a TEFL certification from ITC International, which they obtained in November 2002.
