Carianne Carleo-Evangelist has extensive work experience in the field of cultural and community relations. Carianne has held various roles in the New York City Tourism + Conventions organization, starting as an intern in 2007 while finishing their Masters in Tourism Development. Carianne gradually advanced to positions such as Senior Manager, Director, and Senior Director of Arts & Cultural Programs. In these roles, Carleo-Evangelist worked closely with NYC & Company's cultural membership, promoting collaboration and marketing cross-promotions among cultural organizations. Carianne was also involved in the launch of the NYC Culture Collection program, aimed at promoting the city's cultural assets. Additionally, Carleo-Evangelist worked at Good Samaritan Hospital as a File Auditor, ensuring file compliance prior to visits by external surveyors. Carianne also worked at Nova Group as an English Instructor, providing language instruction to Japanese students.

Carianne Carleo-Evangelist holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Studies from Nazareth University, obtained between 1997 and 2001. Carianne also has a Master of Science degree in Tourism and Travel Management from New York University, completed from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Carleo-Evangelist has a TEFL certification from ITC International, obtained in 2002. Carianne completed their high school education at Nyack High School from 1993 to 1997.
