Frances Escano

Frances Escano is an experienced government affairs professional with a robust background in public administration and policy. Currently serving as the Director of Government Affairs at the New York Hall of Science since October 2021, Frances previously held the position of Government Affairs Specialist at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from November 2015 to September 2021. Prior experience includes a role in Communications and Legislative Affairs at the New York City Council from January 2012 to November 2015. Frances holds an Executive Master of Public Administration in Urban and Social Policy from Columbia University, completed in 2021, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Syracuse University, obtained in 2009.
