Edyta Walega Oliva

Edyta Walega Oliva has worked at the New York Hotel Trades Council since 2011. Edyta started as an Operations Assistant in September 2011 and was promoted to Operations Coordinator in November 2013. In September 2015, they became a Hiring Enforcement Supervisor, and later in June 2017, they were appointed as the Director of Hiring Enforcement, Dues, and Check-off. Prior to their work at the New York Hotel Trades Council, they interned at the Office of the Regional Representative for the Secretary of Labor from October 2010 to May 2011.

Edyta Walega Oliva attended Rutgers University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science.
