Laura Y Gribbin

Laura Y Gribbin has over 36 years of experience in the Energy Industry, primarily at the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO), where Laura served in various roles including Technical Lead and Lead Business Analyst. Responsibilities included eliciting and documenting functional requirements for software implementations in the Wholesale Energy and Capacity Markets. Laura also held the position of Sr. Business Analyst in Capacity Market Product, overseeing product development and project support, as well as authoring critical documentation. In an earlier role as IT Application Maintenance Supervisor, Laura managed 14 personnel focused on Oracle Database Applications and Energy Management Systems. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Software Developer at the New York Power Pool, contributing to numerous Grid Operations applications. Laura earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, after attending The Sage Colleges and Elmira College.
