Michael Oliverio

Michael Oliverio, D.O. serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the New York Institute of Technology since September 2017, where responsibilities include teaching DPR and OMM courses. As the owner and Osteopathic Physician at Michael Oliverio, DO, PC since August 2003, Michael has extensive clinical experience. From 2013 to December 2023, Michael held a position on the Board of Directors for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners and served as the National Chair for the COMLEX-USA Level 3. Additionally, Michael was the Executive Director of the NYS Chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians from January 2015 to December 2020 and held the role of Vice Chair for the AOBNMM-OMM from January 2017 to February 2019. Prior academic experience includes a prior appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Principles and Practice at the New York Institute of Technology from August 2000 to August 2003. Michael Oliverio earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Binghamton University.
