Mathieu Darche serves as the Executive Vice President and General Manager for the New York Islanders since May 2025. Prior to this role, Darche worked with the Tampa Bay Lightning from July 2019 to May 2025 as the Assistant General Manager and Director of Hockey Operations. A significant portion of the professional career includes a tenure at Delmar International Inc. as National Vice-President Sales and Marketing for Canada and Director of Business Development and Public Relations from August 2013 to July 2019. Additionally, Darche contributed to the Ronald McDonald House Montreal as a Board Member from April 2014 to July 2019 and served as a Hockey Analyst for Bell Media from February 2013 to May 2019. Between May 2000 and February 2013, Darche played in the NHL with the Canadiens de Montréal, and participated as a member of the CBA Negotiating Committee for the NHL Players' Association from July 2012 to January 2013. Darche holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Marketing and International Business from McGill University, completed between 1996 and 2000.
