David Lumerman

David Lumerman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in user experience and design. Currently serving as Corporate Vice President: User Experience at New York Life Insurance Company since April 2001, Lumerman focuses on usability practices, UX strategy, and collaboration with various corporate departments. As an Adjunct Professor at Brandeis University since August 2017, Lumerman teaches a range of courses related to user experience and design. Previous roles include Game Developer/Senior Art Director at Uproar.com, Electronic Publishing Specialist at Collier's Encyclopedia, Art Director at Baldi Bloom Whelan Advertising, and Production Artist at King Features Syndicate. Lumerman holds a Master's degree in Human Factors from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts.
