Diane Brotherton

Diane Brotherton has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent position being as Managing Director/Vice President - Senior HR Leader at New York Life Investments since 2017. In this role, they serve as the HR leader and business partner for New York Life Investment Management and New York Life's Insurance Solutions and Marketing. Diane advises and counsels executives of the global business, which includes 7 specialist investment management boutiques with offices in the US.

Prior to this, Diane held various roles at New York Life Insurance Company, starting as a Senior Associate in Talent Acquisition in 2005 and working their way up to Vice President and Corporate Vice President - Human Resources Business Partner. In these positions, they provided strategic guidance and support to executive management within the Insurance & Agency Group on HR and business initiatives. Diane also managed a team of HR business partners responsible for a large employee population in over 120 US locations. Diane was also involved in conducting thorough investigations into harassment and discrimination allegations and developing HR policies and procedures for compliance with employment laws.

Before joining New York Life Insurance Company, Diane worked at Spherion as a National Client Delivery Manager from 2000 to 2005.

Diane Brotherton earned their Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences with a major in Psychology from The Ohio State University. Diane completed their studies at the university from 1994 to 1999.
