James Denniston

James Denniston has extensive experience in the sports legal field, currently serving as Vice President and Co-General Counsel for the New York Mets since May 2008. Prior to this role, James held various legal positions within the organization, including Co-General Counsel, Senior Counsel, and Legal Counsel. James also worked for Major League Baseball from October 2004 to May 2008, focusing on contracts related to sponsorship and licensing. Educationally, James graduated from St. John's University School of Law in 2007 and holds a degree from Saint Peter's University, completed in 2000. Early education includes attendance at Regis High School, which concluded in 1996.
