Chad Lawrenz

Chad Lawrenz is an experienced audio professional with a diverse background in audio engineering and technical theatre. Since January 2024, Chad has served as A2 for "Once Upon A Mattress" at the New York City Center. Concurrently, roles include Audio Tech at the Metropolitan Opera and Stagehand at the Belasco Theatre, both starting in January 2023. Chad also performs as an A2/A3 Sub and Followspot Operator for Disney's "The Lion King" since October 2022. Additional positions include Audio Tech at Studio 54 Theatre since September 2018, Freelance Audio Engineer (A1/A2) for Goldman Sachs since August 2015, and longstanding roles at Sound Associates, Inc., SE Systems, Inc., New York Philharmonic, and The Shed (NY). Chad is an alumnus of Western Carolina University.
