Paul Tartaglia, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Paul held several roles at the New York Power Authority, including Senior Vice-President Energy Resource Management, where they were responsible for market analysis and generation resource management. Paul also served as the Regional Manager for Southeast New York, overseeing assets totaling $2.8 billion. Prior to that, they were an Operations Superintendent and Assistant Operations Superintendent, where they managed power plants and fuel storage facilities. Paul began their career as a Mechanical Engineer and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at STV Seelye, Stevenson, Value & Knecht. Most recently, they served as the Sr. VP, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer, leading the organization's technology development and strategic direction.
Paul Tartaglia, P.E. holds a Master's Degree in Operations Management from The Polytechnic Institute of New York University, obtained from 2001 to 2004. Paul also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completed from 1982 to 1986, with a focus on Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer. In terms of certifications, Paul is a Licensed Professional Engineer, certified by the New York State Department of Education. Paul also holds numerous NYC Certificates of Fitness from the New York City Fire Department and is a certified NYC Stationary Engineer by the New York City Department of Buildings. Additionally, they have completed courses on Executive Leadership and Psychological Safety through LinkedIn.
