William Dempsey

William Dempsey has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. William is currently working as the Cyber Security Program Lead at New York Power Authority. Prior to this, they held roles at Deepwatch as a Principal Security Operations Engineer and Security Operation Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for the design, development, implementation, configuration, operation, management, testing, tuning, and optimization of systems and resources. William also worked at Micro Strategies Inc. as a Senior Solutions Architect, at Independent Health as a Datawarehouse Architect and BI Solution Architect, and at MasterCard International, IPG, Integrated Systems Applications, and Application Consulting Group in various roles related to business intelligence and financial systems.

William Dempsey earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Delaware, where they attended from 1991 to 1996. In addition, they obtained various certifications in Splunk and AWS, including Splunk Core Consultant, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and several Splunk certifications such as Power User and Architect.
