Maria Martin

Maria Martin is a dedicated professional in the field of child life, currently serving as a Child Life Coordinator at New York Proton Center since January 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Child Life Specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2015 to January 2021, and holding the position of Adjunct Faculty at Bank Street College of Education, where responsibilities included serving as a teaching assistant for a graduate-level course in Child Development from 2016 to 2017. Maria also gained experience as a Child Life Intern at Blythedale Children's Hospital between 2014 and 2015 and worked as an Instructional Paraprofessional at The Children's Therapy Center from 2012 to 2014. Maria holds a Master’s Degree in Child Life from Bank Street College of Education (2013-2015) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Marist College (2009-2013).
