Armando Gutierrez

Armando Gutierrez is Chief Financial Officer at New York Public Radio, where he leads the organization’s short-term and long-term financial planning, and manages the finance, planning and strategy, legal, business development, distribution, and broadcast operations teams.

Gutierrez has over 20 years experience developing financial strategy, transforming traditional broadcast businesses, and driving digital growth across media organizations. Before joining NYPR he worked at CBS Corporation where he was the CFO for their Local Digital Media group, the digital arm of the company’s owned and operated radio and TV stations. Prior to that he worked in CBS’ Corporate Development group where he managed both domestic and international M&A transactions and coordinated long-term strategic planning for some of the Corporation’s operating units. Gutierrez also has progressive finance and operations experience working at Sirius Satellite Radio and Viacom, and spent time as an equity research analyst following the media companies on Wall Street.

Gutierrez holds a BA from Amherst College and an MBA from Yale University.
