Brian Yu

Brian Yu's work experience includes serving as a Digital Event Producer at New York Road Runners since May 2023. In this role, they manage content for the TCS New York City Marathon and United Airlines NYC Mobile app, develops on-site digital signage strategies for racecourses and events, and creates interactive presentations for coach-led course strategy sessions.

Prior to that, Brian worked at MLB Network from February 2009 to December 2022. Brian held various roles including Sr. Segment Producer, Graphics Segment Producer, Graphics Associate Producer, Graphics Broadcast Associate, and Baseline & Uppercut Production Assistant. In these positions, Brian produced and copy edited video essays for MLB Now, conducted research and data collection for MLB Draft broadcasts, built graphics for prospect shows, developed formulas for objective analysis, coordinated fonts and created real-time graphics for studio shows.

Before joining MLB Network, Brian worked as a Member Services Associate at Freelancers Union in 2008, and as a Student Coordinator of Intramural Sports at the University of Michigan from August 2007 to August 2008. In their role at the University of Michigan, they oversaw daily operations, assisted with team scheduling, and aided in the development of student referees.

Brian Yu attended Stuyvesant High School from 2000 to 2004. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies at the University of Michigan from 2004 to 2008.
