Angelica Martinez Mpa

Angelica Martinez, MPA has a diverse work experience spanning different government and non-profit organizations. Angelica started their career as an Operations Manager at Multicultural Music Group Inc., where they handled financial matters and managed relationships with donors. Angelica then worked at Food & Water Watch as an Organizing Intern and Development Intern, where they built strategic coalitions and participated in fundraising activities.

Martinez also held multiple roles at Baruch College, including President of Food Matters - Baruch Graduate Student Organization. In this role, they organized events and raised awareness about food policy issues. Angelica also served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Tutor.

In the government sector, Martinez worked as a Policy Intern for the New York State Assembly, where they researched proposed legislation and drafted bills and memos. Angelica also served as a Deputy Director of Policy and Research at the New York State Senate, providing policy analysis and support to the Senate. Additionally, they worked as a Special Assistant to the Comptroller at the City of New York, where they served as the primary staff liaison and managed the Comptroller's schedule.

Later, in 2012, Angelica completed their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on Policy Analysis and Evaluation from the City University of New York - Baruch College - School of Public Affairs.
