Bryan Best is an experienced legislative professional currently serving as the Legislative Director for the New York State Senate since January 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the legislative agenda and advising on policy issues. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Research for the Albany County Legislature’s Minority Conference and Assistant Legislative Director for the New York State Senate. Bryan Best has also held positions as a Legislative Session Assistant and Vice Chair of the Student Senate at the University at Albany, where substantial contributions to budgetary policy and governance transparency were made. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration in Public Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University at Albany, complemented by an academic tenure at Hudson Valley Community College and Penn State University.
