Jake Ashby

Jake Ashby is an experienced professional serving as a State Senator for New York’s 43rd Senate District since January 2023. Prior to this role, Jake served as an Assemblyman for the 107th Assembly District from May 2018 to December 2022, and previously held positions in occupational therapy, including Owner and Occupational Therapist at Ashby Adaptive Occupational Therapy, PLLC from 2014 to 2020, and Chief of Rehab Services at Albany County Nursing Home from 2010 to 2014. Jake also has a military background as a Civil Affairs Officer in the US Army, with experience in Afghanistan and Iraq from 2006 to 2014. Additionally, educational qualifications include a Master's in Business Administration from Clarkson University and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College.
