Yessenia Rodriguez has a diverse work experience. Yessenia started their career in 2013 as a Recreation Counselor at Young Adult Institute Inc, where they completed intakes, assisted with documentation, and facilitated a sewing group. Yessenia then worked as a Keyboard Specialist 1 at Long Island Developmental Disabilities Services Office, where they handled employee processing, verified licensure, and notified staff of renewals. Yessenia then became a Secretary 1 at the New York State Education Department, providing administrative support and supervising support staff. Yessenia then joined the Bronx Community Guardianship Network as an Assistant Counselor, completing intakes, co-facilitating therapy sessions, and maintaining client progress notes. Next, they worked as an NYS Insurance Fund Services Rep. at the New York State Insurance Fund, reviewing medical reports, inputting case notes, and scheduling depositions. Yessenia then became an Executive Assistant to the Regional Director at the New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation, performing administrative duties, advising the Regional Director, and coordinating meetings. Currently, they are working as a District Office Director at the New York State Senate.
