Rodger Kirsopp

Rodger Kirsopp possesses extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as Captain and Assistant Director of Training at the New York State Police since May 1998. In this role, Rodger spearheads the design and delivery of advanced training programs while acting as the Subject Matter Expert for the hiring program. Prior positions include Lieutenant in Employee Relations, focusing on fair hiring processes, and Senior Investigator in various divisions, including Criminal Investigations and the Campus Sexual Assault Victims Unit, where oversight included budgeting significant legislative funding. Rodger began a law enforcement career as a State Trooper after serving in the US Army as a Military Police Officer and Investigator. Rodger holds a degree from Empire State University.
