Lynne Fuentes, CPA CGMA

Lynne Fuentes, CPA CGMA has a long and impressive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Lynne is currently a member of Chief and holds the position of Past President at NYSSCPA - The New York State Society of CPAs. In their past roles at NYSSCPA, Lynne served as President, President-Elect, Vice President, and Director as Chapter Representative. Lynne also held leadership positions within the Nassau Chapter, including Past President, President, and President Elect.

Prior to their involvement with NYSSCPA, Lynne founded and managed their own accounting firm, Fuentes & Angel CPAs, LLC. Lynne also owned Lynne M. Fuentes, CPA, PC, further showcasing their entrepreneurial skills and expertise.

Before venturing into their own businesses, Lynne gained valuable professional experience at notable companies such as Jaeckle, Kearney & Lepselter CPA's PC and Weiser LLP. At Jaeckle, Kearney & Lepselter CPA's PC, they held the position of Senior Manager, while at Weiser LLP, they worked as a Manager.

Throughout their career, Lynne has demonstrated strong leadership abilities and a commitment to the accounting profession. Their extensive experience in various roles and companies has allowed their to develop a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of the industry.

Lynne Fuentes, CPA CGMA, received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Hofstra University in 1998. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Nass in 1996. Lynne attended Holy Trinity from 1989 to 1993, but the specific degree and field of study are unknown.

In terms of additional certifications, Lynne Fuentes obtained a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business New York in October 2019. Lynne also holds the CGMA certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, which they obtained in September 2014. Furthermore, they earned the CPA certification from the University of the State of New York Education Department in December 2004.
