Sibi Thomas

Sibi Thomas, CPA, CFE, serves as a Shareholder and Managing Director at CBIZ CPAs P.C., providing accounting, audit, tax, and advisory services to nonprofit organizations since January 2016. As a member of the Not-for-Profit Project Research Group with the Financial Accounting Standards Board, Sibi contributes expertise to important nonprofit initiatives. Additional roles include active participation in the NYSSCPA Auditing Standards and Technology Assurance Committees, and previous leadership in various capacities at Marks Paneth LLP, including as a DATA Team Leader. Sibi's experience spans from associate to senior manager at Marks Paneth LLP in the non-profit sector, alongside an adjunct faculty position at New York University teaching advanced nonprofit accounting. Sibi holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting and Business/Management, both from the University of Central Oklahoma, and is an alumnus of Cornell University.
