Elyssa Cisluycis is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Associate Counsel at NYSUT since February 2022. Previously, Elyssa held the position of Law Clerk at Victor A. Carr & Associates and the New York State Senate, where research on legislation was conducted in support of Senator Todd Kaminsky. Elyssa’s experience also includes multiple law clerk roles at NYSUT, the National Center for Collective Bargaining, and participation as a Peggy Browning Fellow. In addition to legal expertise, Elyssa has a strong academic background, having taught various sociology courses as an adjunct lecturer and professor at institutions including John Jay College, Berkeley College, and the College of Staten Island.
