Matthew Vani

Matthew Vani is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Associate Counsel at NYSUT since July 2023. Previously, Matthew gained valuable experience as an Associate at Virginia & Ambinder, LLP, and held editorial responsibilities as Associate Managing Editor for the New York International Law Review, focusing on article accuracy and editorial processes. Earlier experiences include a Legal Intern role at the National Labor Relations Board, where investigative skills were honed, and a Summer Law Clerk position at Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, LLP, which involved drafting legal documents. Matthew's foundation in law was built at St. John's University School of Law, where a JD was obtained, following a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations with a Business Minor from Cornell University. Additional prior experiences include internships in the legal and sports sectors, where strengths in research and analytics were developed.
