Alexander Santiago-Jirau has a wealth of experience in education and community engagement initiatives. Alexander is currently the Director of Education and Community Engagement at New York Theatre Workshop and an Adjunct Instructor at New York University. In the past, Alexander has served as the Artistic Director & Co-Founder of The Forum Project, Associate Director of Teaching and Learning at The Center for Arts Education, and in various roles at Drew University, MentoringUSA, and Teach For America. Alexander holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Educational Theatre from New York University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Urban and Regional Studies from Cornell University.
