New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT)
Andrea Rose Clarke is a pioneering figure in the music and arts community, known for founding Sister From Another Planet, a platform that elevates women and artists of color through rare soul, jazz, reggae, and world music. With extensive experience in event curation and moderation, Andrea collaborates with notable artists, including Derrick Adams at Express Newark, and previously served as a program associate focused on empowering underserved communities through business education. Contributions to the Pacifica Radio WBAI 99.5 FM included co-hosting and producing influential music shows, while also being involved in significant events like the Africa Now! music festival at the Apollo Theater. Educational qualifications in entertainment technology were completed at City Tech, CUNY, enhancing expertise in sound technology and multimedia production.

New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) is a nonprofit membership organization for professional women in film, television and digital media. A champion of women's rights, achievements and points of view in the entertainment industry, NYWIFT is an educational forum for media professionals, and a network for the exchange of information and resources. NYWIFT was founded in 1977 and brings together over 2,500 professionals, including Emmy and Academy Award® winners, who work in all areas of the entertainment industry — above and below the line. It is part of a network of 50 international Women in Film chapters, representing more than 15,000 members worldwide. NYWIFT... - produces over 50 innovative programs and special events annually; - advocates for women in the industry; and, - recognizes and encourages the contributions of women in the field.
