Dominik Obermaier

Dominik Obermaier is an experienced technology leader, serving as Chief Executive Officer and CTO & Co-founder at HiveMQ since its inception in 2012. Additionally, Dominik is a co-founder and member of the OASIS MQTT-SN and MQTT Technical Committees since April 2013. As a University Lecturer at Hochschule Landshut from September 2019 to January 2025, Dominik shares knowledge in the field of informatics. Prior experience includes roles as Software Architect at BayCIX GmbH from 2010 to 2012 and Software Developer at DE software & control GmbH from 2008 to 2010. Dominik holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Informatik from Hochschule Landshut, earned between 2008 and 2012.
