Elaine Lembo

Elaine Lembo is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in marine and sailing publications. Since January 2023, Elaine has served as Editor in Chief at Caribbean Compass magazine. Concurrently, Elaine collaborates with America's Cup winning sailor Gary Jobson as a Book Editor at Jobson Sailing Association, focusing on custom publishing projects. Other notable roles include contributing writer for the New York Yacht Club and contributing editor for BoatUS. Previously, Elaine held various editorial positions at Cruising World and Sailing World magazines, including Deputy Editor and Managing Editor, and served as a marketing copywriter for KVH Industries, Inc. Elaine's career began with ownership of S/V Hammonasset and encompasses expertise in leisure marine communication, luxury yacht charter, and digital content production. Elaine holds a B.A. degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
