Ricardo van Wyk

Ricardo van Wyk has extensive experience in the medical and scientific field, currently serving as a Supervising Scientist at New Zealand Blood Service since December 2011, where roles have included Acting Team Leader, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Process Improvement Project Analyst, and Information Systems Tester. Previous experience includes a position as a Medical Technologist at Western Cape Blood Service from June 2008 to October 2011 and a brief tenure as a Student Medical Technologist at National Health Laboratory Service in early 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business in Information Systems and Management from Auckland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Technology in Biomedical Technology from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, and a National Diploma in Biomedical Technology from the same institution.
