Heidi Dungey

Heidi Dungey is a Senior Scientist at Scion since 2000. Heidi leads research in forest genetics, quantitative and applied molecular genetics, and tissue culture and propagation. Prior to Scion, Heidi worked at Queensland Forestry Research Institute as a Post Doc/Geneticist focusing on hybrid breeding theory and practice in sub-tropical pines. In Chile, at Cooperativa de Mejoramiento Genetico, Heidi worked as a Geneticist and Interim Director, specializing in tree breeding and genetics for Pinus radiata and Eucalyptus globulus. Heidi holds a PhD in Plant Science from the University of Tasmania.
