Peter Massam

Peter Massam is an experienced professional in UAV operations and geospatial technology, currently serving as the UAV Operations Manager and Autonomous Systems Team Lead at Scion since December 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Geospatial Technician at Kevin O'Connor & Associates Limited and Survey Technician at Pathfinder Services Ltd, where responsibilities involved infrastructure asset management and GIS system development. Peter's career began in the New Zealand Army, focusing on terrain creation and simulation management, and earlier in the Royal New Zealand Navy, where extensive hydrographic surveying was conducted. Peter holds a Higher School Certificate from Twizel Area School.
