Melissa Brown

Melissa Brown currently serves as the Managing Principal for Governance & Assurance at the New Zealand Ministry of Defence, a position held since December 2024. Prior to this role, Melissa amassed significant experience at Deloitte, where the titles included Senior Manager and Manager from September 2007 to January 2025. Melissa also worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Senior from August 2005 to September 2007. In terms of education, Melissa holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (BACS) from Western University, completed between 1998 and 2003, and a CMA in Management Accounting from the Schulich School of Business at York University, earned between 2003 and 2005.
