Jaistone Finau

Jaistone Finau is a skilled policy officer with experience at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade since November 2022. Currently serving as a council member at Victoria University of Wellington since October 2021, Jaistone has also held the position of national president for Tauira Pasifika since January 2021. Previous roles include Ako in Action student consultant at Victoria University of Wellington from March to December 2020 and vetting officer with NZ Police from March 2018 to July 2020. Additionally, Jaistone was a youth reference member for the Piki Pilot at Tū Ora Compass Health New Zealand from June 2019 to March 2020. Jaistone holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pacific Studies and Education, as well as a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Education from Victoria University of Wellington.
