Jacquelyn Morrell-Short

Jacquelyn Morrell-Short is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in various educational roles. Currently, Jacquelyn serves as a Business Education Teacher at Newark Charter School since August 2022 and as an Educational Training Specialist at Delaware Technical & Community College since March 2014, where responsibilities include proctoring state-mandated examinations. Previous positions include teaching at Odyssey Charter School and general music education at Mt. Aviat Academy. Additionally, experience as an Operations Manager at The First Tee of Delaware and a Program Specialist at YMCA of Delaware highlights Jacquelyn's diverse skill set in program management and instructional coordination. Jacquelyn holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Wilmington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hunter College.
