Anders Gårdestig

Anders Gårdestig is an experienced physics educator and professional with a diverse background in teaching and course development. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Physics at Newberry College, Gårdestig is involved in teaching and developing undergraduate labs. As a Fatal-flaw reviewer for The College Board, Gårdestig assesses AP Physics items for accuracy and quality. Previous roles include Online Physics Instructor and Course Developer at Johns Hopkins University and GoSciTech Instructor at the SC Governors School for Science & Mathematics. Gårdestig has also contributed as a Physics Teacher and Robotics Coach at Westminster Schools of Augusta and as an Assessment Specialist at ETS. With a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics and extensive experience in academic editing and content development, Gårdestig actively engages in improving physics education at various levels and is committed to fostering student learning and engagement in the sciences.
