Caroline Carter

Grant Writer at Newberry Library

Caroline Carter is an experienced professional with expertise in grant writing, donor relations, and communications. Currently serving as a Grant Writer and Donor Relations and Communications Coordinator at Newberry Library since September 2019, Caroline previously contributed to The Renaissance Society at The University of Chicago as a Gallery Attendant. Caroline's teaching experience includes designing and leading a Language Arts curriculum as an Aspire Sixth-Grade Language Arts Teacher at Hathaway Brown School. Caroline has also served as a Student Mentor and Classroom Aide at Centralia Middle School across multiple summer programs and worked as a Writing Consultant at Centralia College, providing writing support to a diverse range of students. Caroline holds a B.A. in Romance Languages and Literatures with Honors from the University of Chicago.
