Karen Barzman

Karen Barzman serves as a Scholar in Residence at the Newberry Library since July 2022. Previously, Karen Barzman was a Professor of Art History and the Director of the Center for Medieval & Renaissance Studies at Binghamton University from August 1999 to August 2022. Karen Barzman holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from The Johns Hopkins University, where studies were completed in June 1986.
