Lee Minnerly

Seminar Instructor at Newberry Library

Lee Minnerly has extensive experience in education and publishing, currently serving as a Seminar Instructor at Newberry Library since February 2012, where 16 adult education seminars focused on the humanities have been taught. Minnerly also volunteered as an Assistant in the Collections Department at the Webster Institute for the History of Astronomy from 2012 to 2018, contributing to the cataloging of star charts. Previously, from 2000 to 2007, Minnerly was the General Manager at Baha'i Publishing Trust of the United States, overseeing acquisitions, production, and marketing for a publishing house. Early career roles include Senior Vice President and Editor-in-Chief at The Korpacz Company, Inc. and Vice President of Research at The Appraisal Institute. Educational background includes a Master of Arts from Michigan State University and graduate coursework in Linguistics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
