Sheridan Shenkin

Sheridan Shenkin is a dedicated professional with experience in various roles within educational and nonprofit settings. Currently serving as a Program Assistant at Newberry Library since August 2023, Sheridan also works as a Book Seller at RoscoeBooks, LLC, since May 2021. Prior experience includes an Office Administrator position at Hands of Peace 501(c)3, where Sheridan worked from December 2019 to May 2021, and as an American Chaperone for Hands of Peace from June 2018 to August 2019. Additionally, a brief engagement as a Policy Research Consultant for Youth Forward took place in January 2019, and Sheridan contributed as a Rogers Program Student Research Assistant at Lewis & Clark from May to July 2017, focusing on a study of motivation and data visualization. The professional journey began as an Office Assistant at HEALTH SCIENCES HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE COLLEGE in 2015. Sheridan holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from Western University (2022-2023) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Anthropology and Psychology from Lewis & Clark College (2015-2019).
