Oscar San Román Orozco

Oscar San Román Orozco has held a variety of roles in the healthcare field. In 2021, they began working as a Consultant in Adolescent Health for the Pan American Health Organization. Oscar also started an internship with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in 2021, working in the Regional Director Office. In 2020, they were an Intern in the Health Promotion and Social Determinants Unit at the Pan American Health Organization, as well as a Co Coordinator for the Applied Global Public Health Initiative. In the same year, they were a Public Health Advisor at the Clinica Atencion Integral COVID-19 Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro. In 2019, they were the Director Medico/Chief Medical Director at ZG Consulting. In 2018, they were the Epidemiology and Public Health Coordinator at Sistema Universitario de Salud. Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, and the Project Manager for the BORN Project Mexico at the Newborn Foundation. In 2022, they will begin working as a Professor in Healthcare Management at Universidad Anáhuac Querétaro.

Oscar San Román Orozco has a Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, which they obtained from 2012 to 2017. In 2018, they obtained an Experto Universitario in Gestión hospitalaria from the Universidad de Cádiz. Oscar is currently pursuing a Master in Public Health and an Advance Certificate in Public Health Disaster Science, Policy and Practice from New York University, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
