Amy Yackowski

Amy Yackowski has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare staffing industry. Amy started their career as a Staffer and Recruiter at American Nursing Services, Inc. in 2004, fulfilling job requests and maintaining credentialing standards. Amy later became a Corporate Trainer and Software Administrator at the same company, where they maintained daily operations and implemented system changes to improve efficiency.

Amy then moved on to Clearview Staffing Software, where they worked as a Software Trainer, providing custom-tailored training sessions to healthcare staffing and recruiting firms. Amy also served as the initial technical and content support during and after training sessions.

In 2008, Amy joined API Healthcare, a GE Healthcare Company, as a Project Manager and Software Trainer. Amy managed large-scale software implementations for healthcare staffing agencies and led the redesign of training structure and content for new client implementations. Amy also participated in Agile requirements, business analysis, and design efforts for healthcare contingent workforce management solutions.

Amy then worked as a Senior Implementation Consultant at Newbury Consulting Group, analyzing and improving operations for enterprise-level staffing agencies. Amy joined erecruit enterprise staffing software as the Director of Healthcare Staffing Best Practices and Middle Office Product Owner, where they defined best practices and supported sales and marketing efforts.

In 2016, Amy co-founded Hopped Up Media, LLC and served as the Chief Hoperations Officer. Amy later became a Strategic Healthcare Staffing Advisor at SIXCEL, a consulting and services firm focused on the staffing and recruitment industry.

Most recently, Amy founded Painted Porch Strategies in 2019, where they serve as the Founder and Chief Evolution Officer. The company aims to help staffing firms fortify their operations, innovate, reduce turnover, and achieve their strategic goals.

In 2022, they also started working as a Strategic Healthcare Staffing Consultant at Newbury Partners, continuing to provide expertise in the industry.

Throughout their career, Amy has demonstrated a strong focus on improving healthcare staffing operations, implementing software solutions, and providing training and support to clients.

Amy Yackowski attended Emerson College, where they studied Broadcast Journalism. Amy also attended Belleview High School, where they focused on Cinematography and Film/Video Production as well as Healthcare.

In addition to their formal education, Amy has obtained several certifications. These include Human-Centered Systems Thinking from IDEO U in May 2023, Prosci Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in December 2022, Leveraging the Power of Emotions as You Negotiate from The Program on Negotiation in November 2022, Certified Change Navigator Practitioner from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS) in September 2022, Certified Change Style Indicator (CSI) Practitioner from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS) in September 2022, Certified EQ-i 2.0/EQ360 Practitioner from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS) in May 2022, and Professional Scrum Developer - .Net from Scrum.org in July 2012.
