Justin Gutknecht

Justin Gutknecht, CFA, is a financial expert currently serving as the Head of Solutions at NewCarbon since November 2023. Previously, Justin held the position of Director of Energy Origination and Development at TC Energy from April 2021 to October 2023. Prior experience includes significant roles at Exelon, encompassing responsibilities in finance and development, fuels origination, strategic projects, and generation development from May 2015 to March 2021. Additionally, Justin served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Development at Annova LNG between June 2016 and March 2021, and worked in financial planning and analysis at EVRAZ North America from May 2011 to May 2015. Early career experience at TDS® involved corporate development and treasury functions. Justin holds an MBA with Honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, focusing on finance, accounting, and strategy, as well as a B.S. in Finance from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
