Suzanne Wood

Suzanne Wood has extensive work experience in the field of Compliance and Risk Management. Suzanne currently serves as a Board Trustee at Citizens Advice Newcastle. Prior to this, Suzanne held various roles at Newcastle Building Society, including Head of Compliance & Conduct Risk, Head of Customer Outcomes, Compliance Manager/DPO, and Compliance Analyst. Their work experience spans from 2011 to the present.

Suzanne Wood earned a BA (Hons) degree in Politics and Criminology from Northumbria University, which they attended from 2005 to 2008. Later, in 2012, they pursued an Advanced Certificate in Compliance from The University of Manchester, completing it in 2013. In 2013, Suzanne furthered their education at The University of Manchester by obtaining an ICA Diploma in Compliance, which they completed in 2014.
