Richard Knight

Richard Knight OBE serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Newcastle International Airport since October 2012, overseeing operations at the largest airport in the North East, which accommodates approximately 5.4 million passengers annually. Previously, Richard held the position of Airport Manager at Cambridge Airport from May 2011 to October 2012, managing all aspects of operational infrastructure, including security and training services. With over 20 years of experience in the Royal Air Force, Richard's roles included leadership of large teams and strategic planning in collaboration with government offices. Richard holds an MBA in Change Management from Bath University and an MSc in Aerospace Technology from Kingston University.
