Amber Chen

UI/UX Designer at Newco: An IAC Incubator

Amber Chen has a diverse range of work experience in the design industry. Amber began their career as a Design Intern at iki2 in 2016, where they assisted in creating graphic assets and participated in product photoshoots.

Amber then moved on to Cornell Tech in 2017, where they worked as a Company Challenge and Startup Designer. Amber held this role for eight months, focusing on design projects related to company challenges and startups.

In 2018, Amber joined Friends & Family as a Junior Designer and also worked at JCDecaux as a Freelance Graphic Designer. In both positions, they contributed their design expertise and skills for various projects. Alongside these roles, they started working at Cabinet, Inc. as a Designer, where they are currently employed.

Amber's most recent work experience is with Newco: An IAC Incubator, where they hold the position of UI/UX Designer since 2020. This role involves creating user-friendly interfaces and enhancing user experience for various projects.

Amber Chen pursued their education from 2014 to 2018 at the Parsons School of Design - The New School. During this time, they completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communication Design.
