Linda Mackey

Animal rights and environmental protection has been Linda’s life mission since high school Ecology Club, thereby enlightening her world outlook. After graduating from Delaware Valley University with a BS in Biology, Linda pursued her MS in Environmental Health from West Chester University. After a storied career that took her from water quality monitoring and planning in the upper Delaware River (where the water is clean enough to swim and snorkel!), to resource conservation at Pike and Chester County Conservation Districts in Pennsylvania, Linda currently serves as liaison to conservation districts for Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

In that capacity, Linda assists districts with DEP programmatic compliance as well as staff and board director training, in line with State Conservation Commission policies. She leads district board members to be knowledgeable, engaged, and in support of the district mission. With this experience guiding and consulting boards, counties, and districts, Linda does an excellent job of liaison between Newcomer Arms and the charities they support. Linda has a close relationship with the KIOTA Foundation and the Newcomer Conservation Fund, where she sits on the board for both.

In her personal time, Linda pursues habitat restoration projects and wildlife advocacy at any occasion.

In summary, Linda makes sure they pay every penny possible towards wildlife protection.
