Felicia Parkman, RN, MSN, RN-BC, CPHIMS has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. From 2019 to present, they have served as the Vice President Clinical & Product, United States and Clinical Product Manager at NewCompliance. In this role, they have provided leadership to improve project implementation, product development, and product delivery of the ACTIQ Surgical business intelligence platform to leading healthcare systems across the U.S. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Memorial Hermann Orthopedic and Spine Hospital as the Clinical Manager Surgical Services, where they were directly responsible for a team of 60+ perioperative staff members, managed multiple perioperative efficiency improvement committees, and daily managed 10 surgical suites, Pain Suite, Preop, and PACU. During the same time period, they also worked at HCA/St.David's Round Rock Medical Center as the OR RN Analyst, where they had a solid foundation of Meditech Perioperative and charge capture software and created and maintained all teaching materials for Perioperative and Procedural employees, surgical menus for all perioperative staff, and Meditech CDS screens. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center as the Surgery Department Charge RN and Surgery RN. In this role, they were a key stakeholder during the implementation of NextGen EMR in 2010, including the development of the intraoperative record, 200+ preference cards, and scheduling grid. Felicia also served as an educator for Surgical Services and efficiently managed a multispecialty surgical suite of 6 O.

Felicia Parkman, RN, MSN, RN-BC, CPHIMS has a strong educational background. In 1998 and 1999, they attended Northern Virginia Community College for their Prerequisite. Felicia then attended George Mason University from 1999 to 2001, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. In 2014, they attended Lamar University and obtained a Master's of Nursing Administration and Business in Nursing Administration. From 2015 to 2017, they attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics. Additionally, in 2018 they obtained an Informatics Nursing (RN-BC) certification from the American Nursing Informatics Association, and is currently a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).
