Carolyn Wright

Carolyn Wright is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Sr. Director of Tax Planning and Research at Newell Brands since June 2021. Prior to this role, Carolyn held the position of Director, Senior Tax Counsel - Transactions & Planning at Hyatt Hotels Corporation from March 2018 to June 2021. Carolyn began a career in tax services at PwC between January 2008 and November 2010, progressing in roles related to International Tax Services before moving to EY, where Carolyn worked as Senior Manager and Manager in International Tax Services from November 2010 to March 2018. Carolyn holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston University School of Law (2004-2007) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Honors) in Life Sciences from Queen's University (2000-2004).
