Abigail Miller, RD has extensive work experience in the field of child nutrition services. Abigail currently serves as the Director of Child Nutrition Services at NEWESD 101, where they have been in this role since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Regional Child Nutrition Coordinator at the same organization starting in January 2021. Additionally, they run Abby Miller RD as a keynote speaker, starting in October 2019. Abigail also worked as a Regional Child Nutrition Specialist at the NorthEastern Washington ESD101 from August 2017 onwards. In their previous role at the Utah State Office of Education, they were a Child Nutrition Program Specialist responsible for managing the USDA Commodity Food Program and auditing district-level management of school nutrition programs. Abigail started this role in February 2015 and left in September 2017. Abigail has also worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Beehive Homes from December 2014 to September 2016.
Abigail Miller, RD has a strong educational background in dietetics and nutrition. Abigail completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Dietetics/Dietitian at Brigham Young University from 2009 to 2014. Abigail then pursued a Master's degree in Master's of Dietetic Administration at Utah State University from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their academic achievements, Abigail also obtained certifications in their field. Abigail became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in March 2015 through the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics. Furthermore, in September 2013, they obtained the ServSafe Certification from the National Restaurant Association, showcasing their expertise in food safety and handling.
